FOR the first time for many years the North Creedy Choral Society Spring concert, to be held on Saturday, April 30, will be accompanied by an orchestra.

Under their conductor, Richard Stephens, the choir will be presenting John Rutter’s Requiem. The orchestra leader is Anna Cockcroft and the cellist, Chris Sampson.

The Society is fortunate in having as their soloist the professional singer, Katie Lever, who, as well as taking part in the Requiem, will be singing the Exsultate by W A Mozart.

The concert will also include two pieces from operettas.

In order to accommodate the orchestra the concert will take place in Crediton Parish Church and will start at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available on the door at £5 for adults and £2.50 for children.
