A NEW Gallery and Framing shop, run by Monika and Tom, has opened at 18 High Street, Crediton.

Monika is an artist and photographer and Tom is a professional joiner and woodcarver, but he also has an artistic background.

They plan to exhibit the work of local artists, showing paintings, drawings, sculpture and ceramics etc. Monika and Tom are also offering a bespoke framing service as well as high-quality art, photographic prints, and prints on canvas.

An official opening and art exhibition will take place at Art plus Frames on Saturday, August 27 starting at 10am when you can meet the local artists, view their work and enjoy a chat. Everyone is welcome. Crediton artists Phil and Ann Smith will be showing their work at the opening celebration. Phil will be displaying some colourful abstracts and Ann will exhibit some of her contemporary hand-built and wheel thrown ceramics.
