THE beautiful garden at Downes on the outskirts of Crediton (EX17 3PL) will be open in aid of the charity Hospiscare from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday, July 30.

The gardens include grass lawns with stunning views across the countryside as well as trees, rhododendrons and azaleas.

The team at Downes is currently developing the garden including new planting.

Entry will be by donations, sadly no dogs will be permitted but all will be welcome.

Refreshments in the form of tea, coffee and cake will be available to purchase.
