THE gardens of Frogbury House at Coldridge will be open to the public from 1.30pm to 5.30pm on Sunday, September 2, in aid of the charity, British Red Cross.

There is an arboretum which at this time of the year will see the leaves just on the turn.
Three ponds are home to many frogs who live there, hence the name Frogbury.

The gardens are informal with herbaceous beds and a variety of interesting plants shrubs and features such as hedgehog hotels, bee hives, barn owls, ducks and geese, together with its own orchard and woodland walk and a variety of hares who seem relatively tame.
There is also a collection of mature and growing Elm trees.
There will be a wide variety of interesting things to see and there will be a guided tour by a professional gardener.
This is a rare opportunity to see a most interesting and beautiful private garden with the owner being a dedicated gardener and plant enthusiast.
Cream teas and drinks will be available.
There is limited wheelchair access with rough terrain off the main paths.
Dogs will be welcome, but only on leads, because of the wildlife.
