I WOULD like to thank the letter writer in the last issue of the Courier (December 13) for their apology to me. Yes, the writer is correct, I am only campaigning for what is our rights.

I am sure drivers using Mill Street and Park Road would love to be able to cross the road instead of taking chances like us.

People have commented and told me not to give up - this I will not do.

Exeter has enough measures to ensure safety so why not us?

These councillors are paid allowances for the jobs they are supposed to do - not in Exeter Road, though! We all deserve to be able to cross our road in safety.

Even someone from the Crediton Chamber of Commerce has told me to keep going.

High and even low pollution is dangerous and a pregnant woman is at risk of having small babies - this was stated in an article printed in the Daily Mail on December 9.

So, Devon County Councillors, you are harming people's health!

Health and safety? They don't know the meaning of it.
