CHILDREN from Sandford School found a really useful way of recycling old copies of the “Crediton Courier”.
Years One and Two, having previously been read the story “Christopher’s Bicycle” by Charles Middleton by their class teacher, Helen Parsons, decided to make bags from old newspapers, just as in the story-line in the book.
Helen demonstrated how to make the bags and then the children made their own.
Helen said it was a useful exercise for the children, adding that some found it more difficult than she had thought.
