DEVON County Council has opened a consultation period today on a proposal for a 19-metre drop-off zone on Hameldown Road next to Okehampton Interchange.

The proposal outlines plans to modify the “No Waiting At Any Time” restriction to a “No stopping except drop off & pick up 5 mins” bay within the layby next to the bus stop.

The consultation period runs from September 3-24. Anyone wishing to make a comment should email [email protected] or write to the Director of Legal & Democratic Services at County Hall in Exeter.
