CANDIDATES now have less than a week to submit nomination papers following the announcement of a by-election for the Mid Devon District Council Upper Yeo and Taw Ward.
If contested, the election will take place on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
Nomination packs are available online, via telephone or in person, but papers must be received by the MDDC election team no later than 4pm on Friday, February 9.
Candidates must follow the instructions and complete the candidate nomination pack available on the Mid Devon District Council website or via: [email protected] or 01884 255255.
Don't forget to be able to vote in elections you must be registered to vote.
Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by midnight on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Applications to register can be made online via this link.
