NICK Wales has joined the South West's only general insurance firm, Cornish Mutual, to look after members in the Crediton and Tiverton areas along with some parts of Taunton and Exeter.

Nick (36) has taken over from inspector Gordon Chapple, who retired to Austria in November after 21 years of service with the company.

Nick, who lives in Newton Abbot with his partner and two children, has almost 20 years experience in the insurance industry.

Nick says he is excited about his new role at Cornish Mutual.

He added: "It has an excellent reputation and I like their policy of visiting their members and giving a one-to-one service.

"I really feel that this new role will broaden my horizons as an insurance inspector.

"The best thing about being an inspector is that I get to visit some beautiful places and interesting people. I am really enjoying getting stuck into my new position."

Also joining Cornish Mutual is Janet Bailey, from Brixham, who will look after members in South Devon.
