GRANT applications are invited from the Den Brook Community Fund from charities, voluntary organisations, Not-For-Profit organisations and social clubs based within the five parishes of Bow, North Tawton, South Tawton, Spreyton and Zeal Monachorum.

The closing date for the next round of applications is July 31, 2022.

During the past five years, the fund has been able to allocate grant funding totalling more than £243,500, supporting 47 different local Capital Projects. As a guideline, it is anticipated that the funds available to organisations based in Zeal Monachorum for this coming financial year will be approximately £2,550.00.

Community Benefits:

Applicants must be able to identify how their project will contribute toward the seven community benefit objectives the Committee originally identified, which are:

a)  Improve local physical health and mental well-being. b)  Promote the care and support of disadvantaged or vulnerable people. c)  Encourage and support voluntary activity, community spirit and participation through social, sporting and cultural activities. d)  Improve local employment opportunities. e)  Produce deliverable benefits to local communities which provide a sustainable legacy over an extended period of time. f)  Provision of environmental benefits which contribute to energy efficiency initiatives g)  Promote equality of opportunity through delivery of neutral, secular, and a-political outcomes.
