IT was a rather overcast day, but reasonably warm, for our walk and talk on Friday, April 28.

This walk featured the completion of the first quarter of this year's programme, and we must add a thank you to the lady who compiles the listing.

It was a town walk this time and as usual we started from the Lords Meadow Leisure Centre to head up to Jockey Hill by way of Beech Park and Longmeadows, then proceeding along Alexandra Road to drop down to Threshers with a return via St Saviour’s Way to the Town Square and our break for coffee with the group sitting outside for a change.

Crediton Walk and Talk group meet fortnightly at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre at 9.45am.

Walks start from the Leisure Centre or nearby and take around 90 minutes, covering about three miles.

Anyone is welcome and walks are free to join. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome, as long as they are kept on a short lead.

The next walk is on Friday, May 12.
