REMEMBRANCE Sunday, Sunday, November 12, will include a church service at Crediton Parish Church which will be followed by a parade to the Town and Hamlets War Memorial in Union Road for the two minutes' silence and laying of wreaths, which will then be followed by a parade to the Town Square.

Motorists are advised that a number of roads will be temporarily closed to traffic from 10.15am to 12.30pm for the event.

Roads affected in Crediton will include East Street, Union Road, High Street, Market Street and Church Street.

Under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 16A, No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads during those times.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via A377 Cowley Bridge, Exeter; A30 Whiddon Down; A382 Exeter Road; A3124 De Bathe Cross; A3072 Copplestone; A377 Crediton and vice versa.

The Order has been made by Devon County Council, the Highways Authority.

Additionally, a Short Act of Remembrance will take place at the Town and Hamlets War Memorial on Saturday, November 11 just before 11am.
