CREDITON Foodbank has received £541 in donations from the Crediton Morrisons store.
Morrisons Community Champion, Hazel Evely presented the donation to Foodbank co-ordinator, Fiona Cochran and Foodbank volunteer Nicola Nathan at the Foodbank in the Manse next door to Crediton Congregational Church.
Fiona said: “We are indebted to Morrisons customers for their generous donations and also for the paper bag scheme.
“Thank you all for your support.”
The donations were collected during the Christmas period at the Crediton Morrisons store.
Hazel said: “I’d like to thank our customers from the Crediton area for their donations to the Crediton Foodbank.
“Please continue to support the Foodbank with bags of food and donations at the tills.
“Crediton Foodbank needs help now more than ever.”
