A CHARITY fundraiser lunch held at the Waterbridge Golf Course near Copplestone on Thursday, November 10, was a resounding success.
The lunch was organised by Samantha Milton, from Bow, assisted by many friends.
It ran from 11am to 3pm and those attending were invited to a full High Tea and a glass of Prosecco.
Samantha explained: "It was a great success with more than 100 people coming along and I managed to raise £2,130 for The Bramble Ward at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
"It was a fantastic day with so much support from so many people."
Samantha thanked all those who attended and the local businesses who donated gifts and prizes for a bumper raffle.
She said that she organised the event because of her personal experiences with her daughter in the hospital during a Christmas period and on many other occasions.
