A TEMPORARY four-day road closure in Morchard Bishop has been announced by Devon County Council to enable Devon Highways to carry out drainage and resurfacing works. It is anticipated that the work between Brownstone Cross and Brownstone Moor Cross will take place from Monday, June 20 to Thursday, June 23. The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via Brownstone Cross, Cuckoo Hill, New Road, Church Street, Polson Hill, Down Hill, Morchard Road, A377, Higher Road, Forches Cross, West Lodge, Back Lane Street, Stone’s Hill, Wadderly Hill, Crossway Hill, Ash Lane, Tridley Foot Hill, Black Dog Cross and Brownstone Moor Cross and vice-versa.
