DURING the pre-Christmas Crediton Farmers Market, which was held in Town Square, Judy Tucker (with the kind permission of the Farmers’ Market Committee) invited donations from those attending, for sprigs of mistletoe sourced from apple trees in her garden.

The proceeds were given in support of the Holy Cross Crediton Campaign Roof Appeal.

Trade was brisk during the morning and the mistletoe was snapped up within a couple of hours, raising the sum of £82.

An additional sum of more than £57 was raised through additional donations for mistletoe, kindly made available at Four Seasons.

The Governors at the Parish Church and the Campaign Roof Appeal Committee members would like to thank Judy for the support of the Appeal, which has raised nearly £65,000 since its launch in May 2014.
