Mid Devon's motorists will have two road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that both of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A30, from 7pm April 17 to 6am April 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Moor Lane, Exeter to Daisymount, Ottery St Mary carriageway closure and M5 both directions, junction 29 exit and entry slip road closures for maintenance works, diversions via M5, junction 30.

M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
