Mid Devon's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A30, from 7pm December 5 to 6am December 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Woodleigh to Whiddon Down lane closure for drainage.

M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.

And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:

M5, from 9pm December 14 to 11.45pm December 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 26 to junction 27 lane closures for barrier repair.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
