Mid Devon's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

M5, from 9pm August 18 to 5am August 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 28 exit slip road Lane closure.

M5, from 10pm August 23 to 5am August 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 27 exit slip road - lane closure for electrical works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
