Mid Devon's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

A30, from 8pm August 1 to 5am August 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Whiddon Down to Cheriton Bishop - Lane closure for Horticulture (Cutting and Planting) works.

M5, from 10pm August 8 to 5am August 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 27 entry slip road closed for electrical works. Diversion via southbound to junction 28, to turn and return northbound.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
