Mid Devon's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.
And a further three closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 9pm September 27 to 6am September 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 27 to junction 28 lane closures for inspections.
• M5, from 8pm October 9 to 6am October 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 27 to 28, mobile lane closure for surveys.
• A30, from 8pm October 9 to 6am October 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Moor Lane, Exeter to Daisymount, Ottery St Mary carriageway closure and M5 both directions, junction 29 exit and entry slip road closures for maintenance works, diversions via:, Motorway traffic M5, junction 30, A3052, B3180, Non-Motorway traffic A3015,A379, A3052,B3180.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
