Mid Devon's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A30, from 8pm June 5 to 6am June 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Whiddon Down to Cheriton Cross carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via Hask Lane to Cheriton Cross.

M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.

And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A30, from 10pm June 29 to 6am June 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Whiddon Down to Fingle Glen carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via Hask Lane, Goldcross Hill and Huishlane End.

M5, from 10pm June 30 to 6am July 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 26 to 27 lane closures for white lining.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
