Mid Devon establishment hit with new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating

A Mid Devon drinking establishment has been handed a new zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Staple Cross Inn, a pub, bar or nightclub at Staple Cross Hockworthy Devon was given the minimum score after assessment on December 6, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Mid Devon's 87 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 69 have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
