POLICE have issued an appeal for witnesses to a collision near Pathfinder Village, near Tedburn St Mary, which left one man with serious injuries.
Emergency services were called at 8.15am on Thursday, July 14, following the collision between a grey Ford Focus and a male pedestrian on Tedburn Road.
The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was by his parked red Nissan Cabstar NT400 when the collision occurred.
He sustained multiple serious injuries, described as potentially life-changing, and was taken to Derriford Hospital by an air ambulance.
The Focus driver was uninjured.
The road was closed for five hours while officers from the Roads Policing Team investigated the scene.
Devon and Cornwall Police officers are working to establish the cause of the collision and appealing for any witnesses to contact them. Anyone with relevant dashcam footage is also asked to get in touch.
