IF you are looking for beautiful things to brighten your home, or hunting for the perfect gift, the Autumn Craft Fair at Eggesford Garden Centre on Sunday, October 23 is an event not to miss.
With around 25 Devon-based artists and craftspeople selling everything from artisan jewellery and photographic prints through knitwear to pottery and glass, you are sure to find something to tempt you.
The event takes place from 11am to 4pm, entry is free and there is plenty of car-parking space.
Derrick Dyer, owner of Eggesford Garden Centre, said: “Our craft fairs are always very popular with customers – the atmosphere is nice and relaxed and there are always lovely hand-made goods on offer.
“The stallholders seem to enjoy coming to Eggesford as well.
“Buying something hand-made is very much on trend at the moment and also supports the local economy as well.”
Set in the beautiful Taw valley, Eggesford Gardens is a good destination for a day out. There is a well-stocked garden centre selling a wide range of plants along with gifts, books, toys and Christmas decorations.
Delicious home-cooked food is served all day in the Gardens Restaurant and Sunday lunches are especially popular.
So why not make a crafty visit to Eggesford and see what Devon has to offer?
