EMERGENCY services rushed to the scene of an accident in Spruce Park, Crediton, this afternoon, Tuesday, November 18, after a car collided with a house at about 1.30pm.

Fire crews from Crediton and Danes Castle, Exeter attended along with an ambulance and police.

A Nissan Pixo car had come to rest in the front porch of a property.

Crediton Station commander Neil Hargreaves told the Courier: “Luckily no one was injured.

“The female driver was able to leave the vehicle herself.

“It was a low speed impact with the house and there were no entrapments in the house or vehicle.

“The vehicle was made safe by the fire crews.”

The lady was cared for by the ambulance service at the scene immediately after the collision.
