TABLES full of good things made by members of the craft group who meet every month at Hittisleigh were for sale at the Christmas Bazaar held in the village hall in aid of the parish church.
There were excellent gift ideas such as bags, knitted items, decorations, wreaths, cards, gift tags, cakes and lots more for sale.
The bazaar raised in the region of £630.
On the three Sundays leading up to Christmas there is an 11am service at the church. On Christmas Eve there will be the Crib service at 4pm, with Christmas Morning Worship at 10am the next day.
On Sunday, December 31 there will be a Carol Service at Hittisleigh church at 4pm shared with Spreyton and Drewsteignton.
On Sunday, January 14 there will be a Christingle Family Service at Drewsteignton, shared with Hittisleigh.
Hittisleigh’s regular produce market will be held in the village hall from 10am-12noon on Saturday, December 9.
On Saturday, December 16, the Whiddon Wide Community Choir will be rehearsing in the village hall from 10am, people being most welcome to drop in.
