THE Friends of Lapford School and Pre-School is to hold a Promise Auction at the school on Saturday, October 20 starting at 7pm.

Promises so far include two tickets for the North Terrace at an Exeter Chiefs premiership rugby cup game; a 45-minute flight for one person; an evening babysitting (up to midnight); a pony ride; an Avon hamper; a parent and child air rifle lesson; a JCB bucket of logs and much more.

Anyone unable to go along on the evening can place a silent bid by contacting Lorraine Kigongo on email: [email protected] or telephone 07940 185 713 - before 6pm on Friday, October 19.

During the evening there will be hot drinks and nibbles provided.

All money raised will go to Lapford Community Primary School and Lapford Pre-School.
