EARLIER this year Mid Devon District Council (MDDC) consulted on the district’s Local Plan Review Proposed Submission which covers the period to 2033.
The Proposed Submission provides details of the homes, jobs and facilities that will be needed in the district in the years to come while protecting the special areas of countryside that we all cherish.
Consultation took place between February 9 and April 27.
MDDC received just under 1,000 submissions to the consultation. These are now available online on the Local Plan Review page on the MDDC website: https://new.middevon.gov.uk/planning-policy/local-plan-review/ .
Using the search facility on the web page a search can be made of all the representations received during the proposed submission stage of the Local Plan Review by policy, surname, ID number or organisation.
MDDC is now in the process of reviewing the comments submitted during the consultation period to determine the scope and significance of the issues they raise for the plan.
It says that further updates will be posted on the website in due course.
