THE pavements on Crediton High Street, which are the responsibility of Devon County Council, have been deteriorating for some time.
Many of the slabs have become loose, raised, sunk or broken and could be a potential hazard, to pedestrians of all ages, but particularly to the elderly or those who have difficulty walking.

When you are older it's dreadful to walk on.Crediton ResidentI have to walk looking at the pavement. I've already tripped twice, fortunately without damaging myself.
