CREDITON Library is hosting Libraries Alive, a joint venture between the library and Crediton Upstream group.

The sessions take place on Tuesday mornings from 10.30am to 12 noon and are open to everyone. A £3 charge includes coffee.

Maggie Scylla will be giving a session on Eastern European Culture on February 9.There will be a poetry and playwriting session on led by Martin Sorrell on February 23 and on March 2 Katherine Weston, from the county records office, will be looking at searching the history of your house.

Alison Whittall will be at the library on March 9 with folk songs from around the world and Hermione Shrine will be holding a drawing and painting session on March 16.

On March 23 Michael Harket's session will feature portrait drawing and Mo Turner will be Easter flower arranging on March 30.
