I WAS walking with our group on Tuesday, September 1 and had reached our furthest point at West Sandford when I experienced a collapse.
A lovely postman called George stopped to help, a first aider from Morchard called Russell and a wonderful lady medic whose name I have forgotten.
George and the lady both checked me over and advised a visit to A and E.
The lady transported me back to Sandford car park, Russell took my friend Jo and her dog back too and we duly went to A and E.
I am pleased to say that after a number of tests I was given the all clear.
A very BIG Thank You to all the wonderful people who stopped to help and to Caroline and Steve for looking after my little dog.
It is really amazing how people stepped in to help, regardless of their own journeys.
Thank you all.
