I WOULD like to thank the Courier Editor Alan Quick for the story of Joan Farley’s life.

Joan appeared many times with her views in the letters section of the Courier.

Joan had her own unique way of getting her views across.

She worked tirelessly to get her concerns across relating to Exeter Road.

I will remember Joan for the strong woman she was.

I would often see her in the town or at Morrisons Joan walked regularly into the town from Exeter Road, always with a strong stride in her step.

As the editor described, Joan was a true Kirtonian.

I am sure she will be missed by those who knew her well.
