GREAT Western Morris is an Exeter based Morris Dance side who draw their dancers and musicians from across Devon, including the Crediton area. We are an all-male dance side with mixed male and female musicians.

We are an energetic and creative Morris side who love to entertain, have fun and engage with our audience, and of course after the performance to socialise over a pint at the nearest Pub with a few songs and tunes.

We mostly dance around Exeter and Devon but regularly perform at Folk Festivals across the country such as: Sidmouth, Shrewsbury, Warwick and in the past have travelled to Ireland, France, Italy, Czech Republic, USA and even Cornwall!

We are now starting our weekly winter practice season, in a large room at the Mint Methodist Church, Fore Street, Exeter EX4 3AT from 8pm every Thursday evening.

Youngsters wishing to join us, between the ages of 11 years to 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent carer, otherwise all we recommend is that you are physically fit, enjoy dance and wishing to give Morris dancing a try (if for the first time).
