Letter: David captures great image of an owl resting in a tree at Cheriton Fitzpaine

THERE are some unexpected advantages of having to isolate during the Covid outbreak.

We have more time to walk in our beautiful countryside, and there is less traffic. This morning Tuesday, February 2, my husband David took a photograph of an owl perched in a hollow tree on the outskirts of Cheriton Fitzpaine. What a beautiful bird!
