THIS year’s one-off Lapford Restart Revel opening ceremony and celebrations will begin on Friday, September 3 with the official opening ceremony of Lower Town Place and the Coronation.

A barbecue and bar will be available, Morris dancers will perform and there will be a Ceilidh with the BarnstormersAll village groups, clubs, organisations and societies are encouraged to take their stalls along to Lower Town Place to be part of the fun and children from the village are encouraged to take part in the procession.

On Saturday, September 4, there will be games on the playing field, a dog show, skittles, a bar, an evening disco and entertainments.

On Sunday, September 5, Churches Together will hold a full Revel Service at St Thomas of Canterbury Parish Church, Lapford.
