JIM of Once Read bookshop in Crediton was delighted to present a donation from Once Read to The Crediton Baby Hub for £200.

Jim said: “I met a number of parents, children and Jessica Atkinson, the organiser, who made me very welcome.

“This wonderful place gives such great support to children and their parents.

“It is a happy, inspiring environment with a comforting feel.”

Jessica added: “We are so grateful to receive this fantastic donation from Jimmy at Once Read!

“The money will go towards our Mum2Mum support group, providing vital support and respite for Mums with post-natal mental health issues.

“We get together on Monday evenings (Mums only), from 7.30pm to 9pm and on Tuesday afternoons (children can stay in the free creche) from 1pm to 2.30pm.

“A Dad’s club, will be starting in the new year on Sunday mornings, for all Dads just wanting to get together and share.”

Jim added: “Another great thank you to our wonderful community for the eclectic array of items and books donated to us to allow us to achieve these donations - Well done Crediton.”
