MARRIED at Crediton Parish Church were Lizzie Grant, elder daughter of Colin and Chris Grant of Willand and Paul Andrew Ransom, younger son of Des and Ethel Ransom of Crediton.

The bride is a nanny, her bridegroom is an engineer for heavy plant machinery.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full-length ivory coloured satin gown and carried flowers in shades of pink and ivory.

She was attended by her sister, Kate Jefferson as Matron of Honour, with Kate's daughter, Amelia, and the children to whom Lizzie is nanny, Poppy and India Hopkins. Kate wore a white and cerise gown, the younger bridesmaids wore white with pink dresses.

Best man was Martin Bridgewater, bridegroom's friend. The Rev Nigel Guthrie officiated.

After their reception at the Drewe Arms, Drewsteignton, the couple spent their honeymoon in Cornwall. They are living at Butt Parks, Crediton.
