RESIDENTS of Ridge House Residential Home at Morchard Bishop have been enjoying regular visits from children from Morchard Bishop C of E Primary School, and the school teachers say that the children have also said how much they enjoyed the visits.

The most recent visit on Friday, July 19, saw the children enjoying chatting with the residents of the home and also playing games.

Manager Bethanie Cheffings explained: “I have seen from the visits how our residents and the children have benefited from this, the children have become more familiar with our residents and show great enthusiasm and support when playing games.

“Their visits to Ridge House bring a great burst of energy which is infectious.”

Further visits are proposed in the future.
