CREDITON Town Council is pleased to report that it has installed a new handrail along a footpath which connects the top of the town (near Barnfield) to the town centre (near St Saviour’s Way car park).

The council received a grant in 2018 from Devon County Council’s Public Rights of Way (PROW) Team to help pay for the works.

The handrail will be of great assistance because of the steep incline of the steps which previously made the route inaccessible for many.

Crediton Town Council expressed thanks to Ros Davies, from DCC’s PROW team for her invaluable support for the project.
