DAVE and Debbie Jones held a tea afternoon in Cheriton Fitzpaine Parish Hall in aid of Help for Heroes.
The event was well-attended, with a huge raffle.
Mr and Mrs Jones have two daughters living on the Isle of Wight, and are planning a run of 106km with a former marine, there.
Debbie is a well-known fitness instructor, and Dave will be the back-up driver.
