I WAS delighted to read Mrs Anne Hughes' letter in last week's Courier (October 4) and also the one from "Exeter Road resident" who I know very well.

How can we be denied safety? Those is charge are putting everyone's health at risk. These people do not have a brain between them - sawdust is an apt word. Maybe they should refer to the *Tree of Knowledge!

Reading the Courier, I see volunteers are needed to use Crediton Speed Watch camera's. It is a joke! Drivers are still using mobile phones.

With the exhaust fumes, small children sitting in their pushchairs are going to have chest problems in later life. Can't you do something Devon County Council?

I hope all in health and safety will always have your limbs - when you haven't its not funny!
