THE February meeting of Colebrooke WI was held at the home of one of our members, Agnes Burrow.
Four of our members are going to the “Bollywood” day at Bovey Tracy which looks like being an interesting experience. Nobody was available to attend the Annual Meeting in Liverpool so all the paperwork will be forwarded to the next listed delegate.
Our speaker this month was Teresa Kendall who gave us an interesting talk on “Fun with Hats”.
Teresa has been formally trained in Millinery and worked with some of the best names – she had brought along a selection of her fascinators as well as some small and larger hats, all beautifully decorated with feathers, ribbons and hand made silk flowers, all in glorious colours, and we had great fun trying them on.

Unfortunately our quiz team didn’t make it to the final of the County Quiz this year but we wish Puddington and Black Dog and Zeal Monochorum good luck in the final next month.
The competition for the best hat was won by Annette James for a beautiful hand made felted wool hat. At our next meeting Brian Newbound will talk about “A Foreign Mystery Tour”.
