HARVEST was celebrated at Yeoford with a morning service at the village church, Holy Trinity, followed by lunch.

Licensed Lay Minister at Yeoford, Mrs Carol Price, led the harvest festival service and thanksgiving.

Gifts of soil and wheat, vegetables and potatoes and flowers, fruit and vegetables from local orchards and gardens, fish from the seas, seeds for next years crop and a harvest loaf made by Carol were presented.

There was an empty bowl as a symbol of harvests that fail and thinking of those around the world who suffer from hunger and starvation.

The lunch was held in the church with meats, salad and potatoes plus puddings, all made by members of the church. Grace was said by the Curate the Rev Lewis Eden.
