THE August meeting of the Mid Devon Farming Life Group was a barbecue held at The Granary, Yeoford, courtesy of Paul and Jackie Coren.

A splendid assortment of savoury and sweet food filled the tables.

Entertainment was from Bill Murray with music and Devonshire Dialect poems.

A great evening was enjoyed by all with and very good attendance.

Thank you to Paul and Jackie Coren for their hospitality, to Bill Murray for entertaining us, to Ash Rose for being our excellent cook on the barbecue and to anyone that helped in

any way with food and contributed draw prizes to finance next year.

Thank you also to the following who donated prizes: South West Fixings, Mole Avon, Bow Garden and Aquatic Centre, Exe Valley Farm Shop, Farmer Luxtons, Morrisons Crediton, North Tawton Cheese Factory and Exeter Race Course.

The next get-together will be a Harvest Meal with Tedburn St Mary Choir to be held on Wednesday, September 24, 6.45pm for 7pm.
