THE Harvest Festival Service was held at St Swithun’s Church, Sandford on Sunday, October 10.

Chris Tucker, Church Warden explained: “The service was well attended and a collection of food items and donations was collected for the Crediton Foodbank.

“Fresh produce and flowers were taken along for the bounty table, with all donations going to WaterAid.

“The Church was beautifully decorated by the flower arrangers and special thanks must go to Ed Nichols, the Head at Sandford School for the beautiful drawings and 3D artwork the children had prepared for the Harvest Festival Service.”
