Judging was by Elaine Clark, a home economist and school Governor, who had a really difficult time. She said it was almost impossible to choose between some, the flavours and appearance were so good, the effort that had gone into them all, the imagination, adding that it was great to see so many young people cooking.
After the judging and presentation of certificates to the winners, there was a cake sale with members of the School Council running the stalls.
One Mum had made a tray full of cup cakes each with a letter in icing to spell out “We Love Yeoford Primary”, while someone else had made bread sticks to spell the word “Yeoford”.
Bake Off winners were: Rosalind, Jess, Maisie, Samuel, Lucy, Charles, James, Louis, Bow and Eli.
