AT Crediton ELF Fundraising Group we have had a busy few months, starting with a great evening at the end of May with the “Mariners Away” shanty group who entertained a full house at Bow Village Hall - the event raised an amazing £1,200 for the work of Exeter Leukaemia Fund. Thanks to everyone who supported us.
We also received a generous donation from the Copplestone Community Cafe - thank you once again.
We would like to send a massive “Thank You” to our dear friend Win Hayden from Copplestone who donated over 100 plants, grown and nurtured by her over many months.
We were able to hold a plant sale at the Belstone Car Boot Sale on August 9, followed by a second plant sale at Morrisons the following week - these two events raised over £365 - well done Win!

We are also very grateful to the Copplestone Farm Shop for money raised in aid of ELF over their July and August bike nights - thanks also to all the bikers for their generosity.
Thank you to everyone who supported our skittles evening at the Waie Inn on Saturday, August 30 - the event was won by “Lady and the Tramps”, with Phil from the same team winning the competition for the highest individual score.
Others teams were the “Londoners”, “Jessy Girls”, “Half Pennies” and “Bow Roughnecks”.
Coming up over the next few months we have the following events:
• another Meat Bingo at Crediton Football Club on Wednesday, September 24
• our annual Big Breakfast at the Copplestone Community Room on October 4 from 9.30am to 12.30pm
• the ever popular ELF Quiz at the Boniface Centre on Saturday, November 29, starting at 7.15pm
We look forward to seeing you again at future events.
