New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Mid Devon’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Ark at Lapford Stores Lapford Devon; rated on November 10

• Rated 5: Cheriton Fitzpaine Welcome Club at Cheriton Fitzpaine Parish Hall Cheriton Fitzpaine Devon; rated on November 8

• Rated 5: Silverton Room4U at Silverton Room 4 U Wyndham Road Silverton Exeter Devon; rated on October 31

• Rated 5: Kingwood Children LTD. at Muddifords Court Sampford Peverell Cullompton Devon; rated on September 29

It means that of Mid Devon's 134 similar establishments with ratings, 105 (78%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
