POUGHILL Youth Club ran a cake stall at the monthly Parish Market in Cheriton Fitzpaine.

They had a good selection of cakes, some of which were made by the youngsters. A total of £80 was raised in two hours, and this will be used for visiting speakers and outings - the Club members want to get involved in forest and other activities later in the year.

They meet at Poughill Village Hall on alternate Thursdays, and there are two age groups from eight to 16 years.
